Preheat your oven and put the biscuits in to bake while you are making the turkey sausage gravy. They should be ready by the time you are finished making the gravy.
Turkey Sausage Gravy:
In a large skillet, over medium heat, melt the butter. Then add the turkey sausage and all seasoning. Break up and brown the turkey sausage until it is completely cooked, which should take about 8 – 10 minutes.
Lower the heat to medium-low and add the flour to the sausage and stir to mix for about 1- 2 minutes.
Slowly stir in the milk to combine with the sausage. Continue to cook and stir for an additional 5 minutes, or until you reach your desired consistency. Reduce the heat to the lowest setting once the gravy starts to thicken.
Recipe Notes
The longer the gravy cooks, the thicker it will become. If you need to thin your gravy, just stir in a little more milk.
