- 3 cups almonds whole raw almonds *see notes*
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or you can leave it unlined as long as it is clean.
Pour the raw almonds onto the baking sheet and spread them into an even layer. Place onto the center rack of your preheated oven and roast for 12 - 16 minutes, or until the almonds are roasted to your liking.
Carefully remove them from the oven and allow them to cool completely on the baking sheet for about 10 - 15 minutes.
Serve fresh, use them in a recipe, or store them in an airtight container until ready to use.
- I buy whole raw organic almonds.
- You can roast as many almonds as you would like. However, I recommend making a small batch for the first time. Ovens can vary as well as the size of almonds and personal preferences. Making a small batch first will allow you to adjust the roasting time. I usually roast mine for 14-16 minutes but check on them at the 12-minute mark. Burnt nuts are bad!
- I like to store my roasted almonds in a sealed mason jar in the refrigerator to keep them fresh.
