Baked Tilapia with Garlic Lemon Butter

Ingredients

  • 4 6 oz. tilapia fillets
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray. Place the tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Stir in the minced garlic and lemon juice to combine. Pour the garlic lemon butter evenly over the fillets. Then season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 - 15 minutes or until the tilapia flakes easily with a fork.
  • Carefully remove from the oven and spoon the garlic lemon butter over the tilapia and garnish with herbs and lemon slices if desired. Serve immediately.
