Make a bed of spinach on your plate or in a bowl. Add the sliced strawberries, then sprinkle with the crumbled goat cheese and chopped walnuts.
In a bowl, whisk the balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the salt is dissolved. Whisk in the olive oil until well blended. Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the mix if desired. This recipe will yield about 2 servings of dressing. Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette, or the dressing of your choice, over the salad.
Notes
You can easily make a larger batch of dressing and refrigerate the extra dressing in an airtight container.
