Apple Cider Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper or to taste

Instructions

  • Add the apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to a small bowl, and whisk to combine. Whisk in the avocado oil until the dressing is emulsified. You can also just add everything to a mason jar,  secure the lid, and shake well to combine.
  • Do a taste test and adjust to your personal preference. Use as desired or store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until ready to use. Enjoy!

Notes

Optional: 
  • honey - adding 1 tablespoon of honey will create a sweeter dressing and create a nice balance of flavors. However, the dressing will no longer be sugar-free.
  • salt and pepper - you might want to add more salt and pepper to taste. However,  the recipe amounts are a good starting point.
