This easy garlic herb compound butter can be made using different herbs and spices. You can use fresh herbs or dried herbs for convenience, including basil, thyme, parsley, oregano, rosemary, and sage. You can also add finely chopped chives if desired.
How to Store Garlic Herb Butter
You can use the garlic butter while soft to add to various things, such as bread or these Easy Cheddar Biscuits. If not using immediately, cover and refrigerate until ready to use. As an alternative, you can create a butter log or roll by placing the butter in plastic wrap and rolling it into a log shape. Chill the butter log in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight until the butter is solid, then slice the butter into discs to use as desired.
