Ingredients
1.5lbs.shrimp peeled and deveined* see notes
1tablespoonolive oil
3tablespoonsunsalted buttercut
1tablespoongarlic4 cloves minced
1/4teaspooncayenne pepper or to taste
1/4cupwhite wine I used Sauvignon Blanc but any dry white wine will work.
Instructions
In a large saute pan, heat the oil then melt the butter into the oil over medium heat. Add the cayenne pepper and swirl to combine. Add the shrimp to the pan and saute for about 2 minutes, then flip the shrimp.
Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds. Add the wine to the pan, and simmer for about 2 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
Garnish with freshly chopped herbs and grated parmesan if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Shrimp - If you are using frozen shrimp, thaw them in the refrigerator or by running under cold water, then pat them dry. Use large raw shrimp that are peeled and deveined. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste if desired.
