4 Spice Chai Mix

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons allspice

Instructions

Chai Spice Mix

  • Add the cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and allspice to a spice jar or a mason jar. Seal the jar and shake well to combine. Store in an air-tight container at room temperature until ready to use.

Chai Tea

  • Use 1 heaping teaspoon of chai spice per 8 oz of water. Steep in near-boiling water for 3-5 minutes with black tea. Stir well. If desired, add warm or steamed milk and sweetener of choice to taste and stir well or froth. I use almond milk and stevia.

Notes

This recipe will make about 5 ounces of chai spice but you can easily make a half batch or a double batch if you will be using it often.
