4-Ingredient Chai Spice Mix

This 4-ingredient chai spice mix is the perfect blend of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and nutmeg. I recommend using all organic ingredients to make the four-spice chai blend.

  • Cinnamon – I only use Organic Ceylon Cinnamon. Ceylon, or “true cinnamon, is healthy, while the Cassia variety can be toxic in large amounts.
  • Ginger – I love ginger for the warm, peppery, and slightly sweet flavor that it adds. It also has many health benefits.
  • Cardamom – This spice has a strong aroma and a flavor that is warm, sweet, and spicy.
  • Nutmeg – Nutty, earthy, slightly sweet, and a little spicy.

Optional:

Allspice – Allspice is only one spice, also known as Jamaica pepper or myrtle pepper. It tastes like a combination of cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, and nutmeg, which makes it a great addition to a chai spice mix.
