Green Beans are so good for you. They can also be quite tasty! My favorite way to prepare green beans is on the grill. The flavor of the green beans is always so much better when grilled. These grilled garlic green beans are so flavorful. Nutritious and delicious!
I love grilling, it is so much fun! I have even been known to fire up the grill during the winter! It is actually quite exciting when you have been stuck indoors. So while Grilled Garlic Green Beans are a great summer side dish, I personally think it’s great all year round. Another bonus, this recipe is so quick and easy! And, no messy cleanup!

Ingredients needed to make the Grilled Garlic Green Beans:
- 1 lb. of Fresh Green Beans – washed and trimmed. (I use organic green beans)
- 1 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp of minced garlic – I use organic minced garlic
- Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Instructions for the Grilled Garlic Green Beans:
First, preheat the grill to high heat. At least 550 degrees F. Then, grease or spray a large sheet of tin foil.
Next, place the green beans on top of the greased tin foil and drizzle with olive oil.
Add the minced garlic and toss green beans in olive oil and garlic to coat. Salt & pepper to taste.
Seal the tin foil around the green beans by folding and pinch closed.
Place on TOP RACK of grill and cook on high heat for about 30 – 40 minutes. Times may vary based on personal preference. I like mine well done so I leave them on a little bit longer.
Carefully remove the green bean “boat” from the grill. Transfer to a dish and serve.
