Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce is so flavorful and delicious! Tender and juicy grilled chicken skewers dipped in creamy peanut sauce. Yum!
Grilled Chicken Satay
Grilling is my favorite way to cook during the summer months and this Grilled Chicken Satay is fun and easy to make. I just love cooking and eating outside! Eating some tasty chicken on a stick while leisurely sitting on your deck or patio is the good life! This recipe is also a big hit with the kids and makes a fun family dinner!
The chicken marinade gives the chicken such a wonderful flavor. This chicken satay is so juicy and flavorful that it does not even require a dipping sauce. So, if you are allergic to peanuts or just don’t like them, you can serve the chicken plain or use whatever sauce you would prefer. Chicken satay is wonderful served with Garlic Sesame Broccoli, Asian Slaw, Lo Mein Noodles, Pad Thai, Cauliflower Fried Rice, or Cilantro Cauliflower Rice.
I hope that you enjoy the Grilled Chicken Satay!

How to Make Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce
Chicken Satay Marinade
Place the chicken tenderloins in a shallow dish. In a mixing bowl, add the coconut milk, garlic, curry powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, and brown sugar. Stir to combine until the sugar is completely dissolved. Pour the marinade over the chicken tenders.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight. I recommend marinating overnight to achieve the most flavorful chicken. After the chicken has marinated, soak the bamboo skewers in water for at least 30 minutes. Thread the marinated chicken tenders onto the skewers.
Grilled Chicken Satay
Preheat your grill over medium heat. Brush the grates with oil. Place the chicken skewers onto to preheated grill and cook for 4 – 6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees fahrenheit. Serve immediately with peanut sauce for dipping.
Peanut Sauce
Add all of the ingredients for the peanut sauce to a mixing bowl. Whisk to combine all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Serve with the chicken satay as a dipping sauce.
