Notes

Plant-based smoothie
I used vanilla Greek yogurt, but you can use the yogurt of your choice including dairy-free alternatives to make this smoothie bowl completely plant-based.
How to thicken or thin your smoothie
  • If you would like a thicker pumpkin yogurt smoothie, more like pudding, you can either reduce the milk to 1/3 cup or add an additional tablespoon of chia seeds to soak up more of the liquid and add more protein and fiber to your bowl.
  • If you would like a thinner smoothie, just add a little more milk.
Toppings
My toppings include chopped apples, walnuts, pecans, and pepitas. You can choose your own toppings for your smoothie bowl creation.
  • Fruit - chopped or sliced apples, pears, or the fruit of your choice.
  • Nuts - chopped walnuts, pecans, peanuts, sliced almonds, etc...
  • Seeds - Pepitas/pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, or hemp hearts.
  • Cinnamon Honey Nut Granola Recipe
