This easy homemade cinnamon dolce latte is super yummy, healthier, quicker, and much cheaper than going to your local coffee shop or cafe. Plus, you can enjoy it from the comfort of your home or take it to go!
I am a true espresso and coffee lover, it is how I start my day and I believe it is what keeps me alive since I do not get a lot of sleep. I wake up well before my local coffee shop does, so I make my tasty beverages at home and I take my barista responsibilities very seriously!
Dolce is the Italian word for sweet, so this is a sweet cinnamon latte. I made this cinnamon dolce latte recipe without artificial syrups or flavoring, I used real cinnamon. This latte is healthier than the one they serve at Starbucks. It is a true cinnamon dolce latte and a more authentic Italian espresso beverage, in my opinion. I made my Cinnamon Dolce Latte with almond milk and stevia but you can easily customize this recipe to suit your taste.
Cinnamon Dolce Latte Ingredients
I made this easy cinnamon dolce latte recipe using sugar-free and dairy-free ingredients to create a skinny latte that’s plant-based, low-carb, and keto-friendly so I can enjoy it guilt-free. However, you can make this cinnamon latte recipe using the ingredients of your choice. For example, you could use whole milk and cane sugar for a rich and decadent treat. I sometimes use vanilla almond milk and stevia brown sugar for a more flavorful latte.
- Espresso – I use organic dark roast coffee beans that I grind at home to make my espresso. You can use the coffee of your choice, or make instant espresso if that is your preference.
- Cinnamon – I only use organic Ceylon cinnamon. You can also use this Homemade Chai Spice for a chai latte variation.
- Milk – I use unsweetened almond milk or unsweetened flax milk to make my lattes. You can use the milk of your choice, whether it be plant-based milk or regular milk.
- Sweetener – I use stevia or monk fruit to sweeten my coffee. You can use the sweetener of your choice.

How to Make a Cinnamon Dolce Latte
To make a cinnamon doce latte at home, first, make the espresso. Brew two shots of espresso or 2 ounces of espresso and pour into a mug.
Combine the milk, cinnamon, and sugar in a microwave-safe mug or bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, then poke a hole in the plastic to vent. Steam the milk in the microwave for 1 minute, or until the milk is hot.
Remove the plastic and froth with a milk frother or whisk until foamy. Pour the steamed sweet cinnamon milk into the mug with the espresso. Top with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon and add additional sweetener if needed. Serve hot and enjoy!

- 2 ounces espresso (see notes)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon plus extra sprinkle on top (see notes)
- 6 ounces milk (see notes)
- 1 teaspoon sweetener add more to taste (see notes)

- Brew two shots of espresso or make 2 ounces of espresso and pour into a mug.
