This is a simple 4-ingredient dark chocolate fudge recipe that is super quick and easy to make. You can easily add in things like chopped nuts for variety, extra flavor, texture, and nutrients. The fudge stores well, so it’s wonderful to have on hand for an easy dessert or for an afternoon pick-me-up. This dark chocolate fudge can even be considered a healthy dessert since dark chocolate is good for the mind, body, and soul!

Dark Chocolate Fudge Recipe Ingredients

This easy dark chocolate fudge recipe with 4 ingredients is simple and uses pantry staples. You can also add ingredients to your fudge for variety. 

  • dark chocolate chips: Use good-quality dark chocolate chips for the best results.
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • unsalted butter
  • pure vanilla extract

How to Make Dark Chocolate Fudge 

To make dark chocolate fudge, first line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper or use foil and spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Combine all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly until the mixture is completely melted, smooth, and creamy. Make sure that you keep the heat on low and Do Not bring it to a boil. It could take 5 – 10 minutes, depending on your pot and stove.

Once you have your smooth and creamy dark chocolate mixture, remove it from the heat, pour it into the prepared pan, and spread it evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is completely set.

Once the fudge is set, use the paper or foil to lift it out of the pan and peel off the foil. Cut the fudge into squares, serve and enjoy, or store for later.

To store fudge, refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze it in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
