This Glazed Turkey Meatloaf recipe is made with oats and a delicious glaze! It is a great option for an easy and healthy family dinner.
Turkey Meatloaf
A turkey meatloaf can sometimes be dry compared to a meatloaf made with ground beef. However, this ground turkey meatloaf recipe comes out moist and tender and the glaze tastes amazing!
Meatloaf made with ground turkey and oatmeal is healthier than traditional meatloaf that is made with beef and breadcrumbs. It is packed with both flavor and nutrients, and it has a great consistency. Even though it is healthy, this glazed turkey meatloaf is every bit the comfort food as a regular meatloaf, if not more so since I feel comforted by the fact that it is better for me. So, now I get to eat more!
I hope that you enjoy the Glazed Turkey Meatloaf!
What to Serve with Meatloaf
Wondering what to serve with meatloaf? I have some ideas for you. For a healthy and low-carb dinner, I recommend serving this with some Garlic Mashed Cauliflower. It is a great alternative to traditional meat and potatoes. Parmesan Roasted Broccoli is another healthy side dish that pairs well. Add both side dishes for a very filling meal with a healthy dose of cruciferous vegetables! For a fancier dinner pairing, try serving it with Creamy Cauliflower Risotto and Roasted Green Beans on the side. You can also top your loaf with some Sautéed Bourbon Mushrooms. Yum!

- Milk – I use whole milk but any milk will work including dairy-free alternatives.
- Eggs – lightly beaten
- Garlic – jarred minced garlic or 5 – 6 cloves of fresh minced garlic.
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Ketchup – I use sugar-free.
- Olive Oil – or the oil of your choice. I have also used avocado oil.

- Basil – dried herb.
- Thyme – dried herb.
- Kosher Salt
- Freshly Ground Pepper

How to make Turkey Meatloaf with Oats
To make a turkey meatloaf with oats, first, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease or spray a 9×5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Add the oats and milk to a large mixing bowl and stir to combine then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. I use my hands to combine all of the ingredients. Is this really gross or is it fun? Well, that’s debatable.
Once you have your big blob of meat mixture ready, put it into the loaf pan and form your loaf. Gently press it into an even loaf, then smooth over the top. Do NOT put the glaze on yet. You glaze the loaf after the first half of baking.
Put the loaf into your preheated oven, on the middle rack, and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
While the loaf is in the oven, add all of the ingredients for the glaze to a bowl and stir well to combine. Set aside.
After the meatloaf has baked for 30 minutes, carefully remove it from the oven and spoon off any excess fat if there is any. Then, spoon the glaze onto the meatloaf and smooth out.
Put the glazed meatloaf back into the oven and bake for an additional 30 – 35 minutes or until the internal temperature is at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Note: Ovens can vary, so check after 30 minutes. The second half of baking could take 30 – 40 minutes.
Carefully remove the glazed turkey meatloaf from the oven and allow it to cool for at least 5 – 10 minutes prior to slicing.
