Strawberry Spinach Salad Ingredients
I like to use fresh organic ingredients to make my salads.
- Fresh Baby Spinach – I always use organic spinach. It truly does matter when it comes to this particular vegetable, especially when eating it uncooked.
- Fresh Strawberries – sliced. I prefer the taste of fresh organic strawberries!
- Goat Cheese – crumbled.
- Walnuts – chopped. You can also add these Maple Glazed Pecans as an alternative or in addition to the walnuts. They add flavor and crunch!
Balsamic Vinaigrette Ingredients
- Balsamic vinegar
- Olive oil or Avocado oil
- minced garlic
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper

How to Make a Strawberry Spinach Salad
Making this salad is so simple! First, make a bed of spinach on your plate or in a bowl. Add the sliced strawberries, then sprinkle with the crumbled goat cheese and chopped walnuts. You can also add Maple Glazed Pecans if desired. Finally, drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette, or the dressing of your choice, over the salad.
Balsamic Vinaigrette
In a bowl, whisk the balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until the salt is dissolved. Whisk in the olive oil until well blended. Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the mix if desired. This recipe will yield about 2 servings of dressing. You can easily make a larger batch and refrigerate the extra dressing in an airtight container.
Drizzle or toss the salad with the balsamic vinaigrette. Serve and enjoy!
